Robert Habeck said supplies of gas from  Russia  could not be relied upon and called on people to pull together to save energy. The new measures include requesting bosses to allow home working wherever possible to enable heating systems in larger buildings to be turned off, a legal obligation to get rid of inefficient heating systems, and a ban on using gas to heat private pools.
